The beginning of WWI ... this
is the Hofburg ... the seat
of the Hapsburgs in Vienna.
Their summer home
is a few miles west. Franz Ferdinand and his wife are not buried
in the Hapsburg crypts. However, there is this plaque there that
serves as a memorial to his death.
