Definition: Fascism

Fascism became popular in certain European countries between the World Wars. Fascism is a political ideology where a dictator promotes nationalism under the threat of an extensive military force. A fascist dictator controls nearly all aspects of life within the nation. Fascism grew out of discontent and desperation in the years after World War I. Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini were the Fascists you need to know.
